Day 1 DEPARTURE TO ROME
Depart from US on intercontinental flight to Europe, your destination is Rome.

Day 2 ARRIVAL TO ROME
After arrival to the Rome airport, group will meet
with the guide and head to Rome.
Coming to Rome we will visit two major, patriarchal basilicas of Rome one is St. Mary Major Basilica only basilica in Rome that kept the original structure, dating from 5th century to the
time of Pope Sixtus III. Next one is Basilica of St. John Lateran, Cathedral of Rome
and first seat of the Popes, just across the street the Holy Staircase (Scala Sancta)
actual stairs that Jesus walked on the day he went to Pilate. Here we will end our
afternoon with panoramic tour of Rome by bus passing by Coliseum and Arch of Constantine,
Roman Forums, Venice Square or “Piazza Venezia” as Italians call it.
Transfer to hotel on time for dinner and first overnight in Rome.

Day 3 CHRISTIAN TOUR OF ROME
Early in the morning after breakfast group will head towards the St. Peter’s Square,
attend the General Audience with His Holiness Benedict XVI. After the audience and some time for
snack we will set, with our guide, for a walking tour through the Vatican Museums.
We wander the spectacular chambers leading to the Sistine Chapel to view Michelangelo’s masterpieces,
including the magnificent fresco of the Last Judgment. We continue through the awe inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica,
the largest church in the world for an informative tour. Here among many treasures we view Michelangelo’s moving “Pieta”.
Continue with coach to to the basilica of
St. Paul Outside the Walls as last visit today.
At the end of the day we will return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 ASSISI - LORETO - OVERNIGHT CRUISE FERRY TO CROATIA
Today
we are in the town where world’s most popular saint Francis was born in Assisi.
We will begin our visit with St. Clare’s church in which we can view the body of the Saint.
Our walking tour will continue through Assisi’s main square, pass by the Cathedral of
Assisi and finally to St. Francis Basilica with the crypt in which Francis is buried. After our walking tour of the old city, we will visit Santa Maria degli Angeli where
Francis formed his order. We will visit “Porziuncola” chapel rebuilt by Brother
Francis himself and the Chapel of Transition, actual place of his death. Around
noon we will leave Assisi, after couple hours of drive we will arrive to Loreto.
Town in which already in the early 14th century exist church dedicated to Saint Mary,
today it is basilica The Holy Family built over the chapel. Story of the House of
the Holy Family that is here goes back to the 13th century when house was miraculously
transferred from Nazareth, but probably that pieces of it were brought here by crusaders
who were returning from Holy land.
"The Angel of the lord declared unto Mary, and She Conceived of the Holy Spirit" -
words that in Loreto in the House of the Holy Family touches us even deeper.
On the ruins of the house one can see the actual place of the event.
Same day in the late afternoon we will leave Loreto, short drive to Ancona – embarking the cruise ferry for overnight cruise to Croatia, Split.

Day 5 ARRIVAL TO CROATIA - SPLIT - MEDJUGORJE
After disembarking ferry cruise we will have morning visit of Split, city tour including the Diocletian’s palace. Diocletian was a Roman Emperor who had built large summer residence palace in early 4th century. It is absolutely amazing how well preserved are certain parts of the inner area of the structure of the palace which is over 1700 years old. After visit transfer to Medjugorje, free time before dinner.

Day 6, 7, 8, 9,10 MEDJUGORJE - YOUTH FESTIVAL PROGRAM
Very first day starts with orientation walk from our hotel to the church of St. James. On our program in Medjugorje we will have combination of many activities designed for youth that will be coming from all over the World. Groups will attend talks given by priests from Medjugorje, daily Holy Mass in English. Group will have a time for the hill of Podbrdo or Apparition Hill, site of the apparition of OUR LADY. On our list of things to do is climb to the Cross Mountain to make the most difficult Way of the Cross in the World. Messages that OUR LADY QUEEN OF THE PEACE has been giving here were the foundations for evening program. Program that consists of prayer of all the three Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, of the evening Holy Mass, of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, of the prayer for Healing and of all other beautiful praising of the God. Nights in Medjugorje are most inspiring on the mountains that surround the parish, like Apparition hill or the Cross Mountain and maybe sunrise on the top of it. In the week when youth from all over the World is here together in the prayer we will adjust our program and find time to learn more about this country, its culture, history and religion and time for fun.
- One afternoon group will enjoy swimming, picnic by the lake under the waterfalls called “Kravica” ...SEE PHOTO
- One day we will visit Mostar or Dubrovnik, full day excursion

Day 11 DEPART MEDJUGORJE - SPLIT - ZAGREB
Today after breakfast pilgrims will leave Medjugorje at about noon, about 2 hours drivefor Split Airport. Short flight to Zagreb, capital of Croatia, dinner and overnight in Zagreb.

Day 12 FLIGHT BACK HOME TO THE US
After early motrning breakfast transfer to Zagreb International airport - flight back home to the USA - arrival same day.
