MEDJUGORJE - ROME - ASSISI PILGRIMAGE

ITINERARY
Day 1
Departure from your city USA for intercontinental flight to Split Croatia.

Day 2
Your group arrives at the airport of Split, in the Republic of Croatia. Here all our groups meet our guide and take a bus ride to Medjugorje. Drive is along the most beautiful coastline in the world, the Adriatic Sea Coast. Time permitting, we will attend the evening program in the Church of St. James, the Patron Saint of Medjugorje and patron saint of pilgrims. Group will have dinner and first night in Medjugorje.

Day 3, 4, 5, 6
First day after breakfast our local English-speaking guide will give us an orientation walk from our hotel to the St. James Church . Group will be following program in Medjugorje such as talks given by Franciscans from St. James Parish of Medjugorje, scheduled visits when possible to three of the visionaries, Ivan, Marija, and Vicka, who still today receive apparitions of Our Lady. We will climb Cross
Mountain and the Apparition hill and village Bijakovici where Our Lady has first appeared. With your guide you will go and hear a talk and receive a blessing from the priest, Fr. Jozo, who was pastor at the time when the first apparition occurred in Medjugorje on June 24th 1981. group will daily celebrate English speaking Holy Mass. Whether your group is accompanied with a priest or not, the Medjugorje parish makes sure you have daily celebration of The Holy Eucharist in your language.
Messages that Our Lady - QUEEN OF PEACE has been giving here is the foundation for the evening program. Together will thousands of pilgrims from all over the world you will pray three Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, celebrate the Holy Mass, attend the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, whole evening only beautiful praising of our God.

Day 7
Today we leave Medjugorje after morning Holy Mass at St. James Church. Group will depart for airport of city Split and after a one-hour flight we are in Rome. Transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8
Today is Wednesday and we will spend the whole day at St. Peter's Square, Vatican Museums, and in the Basilica of St. Peter! The highlight of our day is the attendance of the Papal Audience at St. Peter’s Square for

Day 9
After breakfast group will check out from the hotel and leave for Christian tour of Rome. Visit will include basilica of St. Mary Major and celebration of the Holy mass here, then St. John Lateran basilica, Cathedral of Rome that used to be the seat of popes before moving to Avignone, later Vatican and basilica of St. Peter becomes center of the Catholic world. Later in the afternoon group will visit last basilica, basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and catacombs before leaving for Assisi. Tonight group will dine and overnight in Assisi.

Day 10
We begin our morning in Assisi with Holy Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis. Afterwards we have a walking tour of the city, visiting the major sites associated with St. Francis and St. Claire the founder of Poor Claire's. We will also visit the Saint Mary of Angels with Porziunkola, one of three restored churches by young Francis nowadays embraced by the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels.

Early morning departure for Rome Airport - flight back home.
