Day 1 - DEPARTURE FOR MEDJUGORJE

Departure from your city, International Airport - flight to Split or Dubrovnik in the Republic of Croatia.

Day 2 ARRIVAL TO MEDJUGORJE

You will arrive at the airport of Split or Dubrovnik in the Republic of Croatia. Here all our groups meet our Blue Heart Travel guide and take a bus ride to Medjugorje. Upon arrival to Medjugorje free time before dinner. Time permitting, we will attend the evening program in the Church of St. James, the Patron Saint of Medjugorje and of pilgrims. Dinner and your first night in Medjugorje.

Day 3, 4, 5, 6 - MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE PROGRAM

First day after breakfast our local guide will give us an orientation walk from our hotel to the St. James Church . Group will be following program in Medjugorje such as talks given by Franciscans from St. James Parish of Medjugorje, scheduled visits when possible to three of the visionaries, Ivan, Marija, and Vicka, who still today according to thir words receive apparitions of Our Lady. We will climb the Cross Mountain (Krizevac) and the Apparition hill, Podbrdo above the village Bijakovici where Our Lady has first appeared. With your guide you will visit Oasis of Peace chapel, nearby Blue Cross and Cenacolo - comunity in Bijakovici village. From your guide hear the story which changed Medjugorje from June 24th 1981, event which changes to world. Group will daily celebrate English speaking Holy Mass. Whether your group is accompanied with a priest or not, the Medjugorje parish makes sure you have daily celebration of The Holy Eucharist in your language. Messages that OurLady - THE QUEEN OF PEACE has been giving here are the foundation for the evening program. Catholic pilgrimage to Rome, visit to St. Peter's basilica Together with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world you will pray the Holy Rosary, celebrate the Holy Mass, attend the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.... - enjoy the freedom of prayer.

Day 7 MEDJUGORJE - ROME

Today we leave Medjugorje after morning Holy Mass at St. James Church. Group will depart for airport of city Split and after a one-hour flight you are in Rome. Transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 VATICAN - AUDIENCE

Today on Wednesday you will spend the whole day at Vatican first part on St. Peter's Square your highlight of the day - Papal Audience at St. Peter’s Square for Vatican, Audience at St. Peter's basilica pilgrims from all over the world. After the audience follows visit to Vatican Museums and St. Peter's basilica. Free time in late afternoon for some shopping at souvenir shops around Vatican! Overnight in your hotel in Rome.

Day 9 ROME CHRISTIAN TOUR

After breakfast group will check out from the hotel and leave for Christian tour of Rome. Visit will include basilica of St. Mary Major and celebration of the Holy mass here, then St. John Lateran basilica, Cathedral of Rome that used to be the seat of popes before moving to Avignone, later Vatican and basilica of St. Peter becomes center of the Catholic world and the seat of the Pope. After break later in the afternoon group will visit last of four patriarchal basilicas, basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls before leaving for Assisi. Tonight group will have dinner and overnight in hotel in Assisi.

Day 10 ASSISI

We will begin our morning in Assisi with the city tour of the Assisi, we will be visiting the major sites associated with St. Francis and St. Claire the founder of Poor Claire's. Walk from the church of St. Claire along the streets of Assisi down to the mainsquare, see the little church where St. Franics was imprisoned by his father. Visit will end by the Basilica of St. Francis with the Tomb of Saint. We will also visit the basilica of Saint Mary of Angels with Porziuncola, one of three restored churches by young Francis. Holy Mass Free time in the afternoon, shopping, personal devotions.

Day 11 - ITALY, ROME - FLIGHT HOME

Early morning departure for Rome Airport - flight back home.
