Our Lady of Fatima & Divine Mercy Pilgrimage - BHT0025
This pilgrimage tour will take us to Portugal & Poland! From Lisbon and Saint Anthony, Eucharistic Miracle Church of St. Stephen to Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of the Rosary to Divine Mercy in Krakow with Saint Faustina, Wadowice with the story about the life of Karol Woytila through whom Our Lady of Fatima & Divine Mercy are so strong connected! We are sure that the diversity of Europe will amaze you and the firm faith and devotions in the sanctuaries we will visit inspire you to last until your next pilgrimage!
Day 1 - DEPARTURE FOR PORTUGAL
Our journey starts with a flight to Portugal and its capital city Lisbon.
Day 2 – Lisbon – Fatima
Upon arrival to Lisbon transfer to Fatima. Before we head towards Fatima, we will have a visit of Lisbon, Cathedral, and St. Anthony church will be our focus here! On the way to Fatima, shortstop in Santarem to one of the most famous Eucharistic Miracles in Europe! In Fatima, group will check to the hotel, dinner and first overnight by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima.
Day 3 Fatima, Aljustrel, Valinhos
Today we will celebrate the centennial of the apparition of Our Lady of the Rosary in Fatima! Private Holy Mass celebrated by our priests! Visit of places connected to the apparition in Fatima, tiny village Aljustrel, home of visionaries, pasturage at Valinhos where Our Lady also appeared and to the Cova da Iria, the actual place of the apparition where Our Lady of Fatima gave a message to the world through Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia. Holy Mass in one of the chapels in the Shrine. Tonight we will participate in the Rosary Prayer to our Lady and Candlelight procession! Dinner and overnight stay in Fatima.
Day 4 – Fatima & excursion to Batalha, Alcobaca & Nazare
Free morning for personal devotions, shopping, and private Holy Mass for our group before we leave the afternoon trip! Once we leave Fatima first stop we make is in Batalha, a monastery from the 14th century. Construction of this vast and spectacular piece of architecture was ordered by John I (Joao I) king of Portugal, in honor of the battle he won for the independence of Portugal! Next stop will be in Alcobaca, one even older than Batalha, from the 12th century built by first Portuguese King Alfonso Henriques! In the end, if the day we will stroll along the famous sandy beach of village Nazare on the coast of the Atlantic ocean! Sam evening we are back to Fatima for last night with Our Lady Of Rosary, procession & rosary with thousands of pilgrims from all over the Catholic World!
Day 5 – Flight to Poland, Krakow
This morning we are on our way to Poland. Flight Lisbon - Krakow. Upon arrival to Krakow, transfer to your hotel. Time permitting a panoramic city tour by bus, introduction to, once a town of Royal Krakow.
Day 6 – Krakow – Divine Mercy – Wawel
This morning we are on our opening city tour of the Royal Krakow, main square Rynek Glowny, St. Mary's church, Royal Wawel with the Cathedral. Here in the city center, we will have a lunch break before we head to Divine Mercy Convent! Just a little bit outside the Krakow amazing story about St. Faustina and her visions of Christ. At the end of the day, we are back in our hotel. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
Day 7 – Krakow – Czestochowa – Krakow
Whole day excursion to Czestochowa, Jasna Gora Monastery! Here we will hear the story of Poland & Catholic history of the country! Holy Mass and prayer before the famous icon of the Black Madonna before some free time in the most popular Polish Sanctuary! After the whole day excursion in Czestochowa, we will return to Krakow, short rest at our hotel before dinner in one of the typical Polish restaurants.
Day 8 – Krakow – Auschwitz
After a relaxed morning, we'll be heading towards Wieliczka Salt Mine. Impressive work of the miners throughout the centuries, sculptures, halls, chapels, all carved inside the salt mine!
Later this day, we are on our way to Auschwitz, a place of the biggest tragedy in the recent human history, and here we will also hear about the life of St. Maksymilian Kolbe. At the end of the day, we are back in Krakow for free time in the city center before typical Polish dinner in one of the restaurants in the city center!
Day 9 – Krakow – Wadowice – Warsaw
Today we leave Krakow, our journey will take us to the birthplace of most loved Pope of our times, in the little town of Wadowice. Here we will visit the museum dedicated to the life of St. John Paul II. After the visit to the Museum & Holy Mass in Minor Basilica in Wadowice, we are on our way to Warsaw! Upon arrival to Warsaw, we will check to our hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 10 – Warsaw
This morning we will dedicate it to Warsaw! We will take a sightseeing tour of Warsaw including the picturesque Old Town, the Cathedral, and the Royal Route. The free afternoon we can have to finish the shopping, lunch, and only enjoying beautifully restored old Warsaw! Same evening after short rest we are in the typical Polish restaurant for farewell dinner!
Day 11 – Poland - USA, flight back home
Morning transfer to Warsaw International Airport, flight back home!
