PILGRIMAGE TOUR ON THE MAP
Day 1 - DEPARTURE - from your airport/gateway city
Our pilgrimage tour starts with flight to Prague, Czech Republic, meals are served on board of the plane.
Day 2 - Arrival to Prague
Upon arrival to Pargue we will meet with our Blue Heart Travel tour escort and along with the local guide of Prague set on a sightseeing tour of capital of Czech Republic. You will visit its most important landmarks such as the Charles Bridge, old town of Prague with the gothic church of Our Lady of Tyn and the Astronomical Clock. Later in the afternoon we will check in to hotel and rest until dinner is in one of local restaurants, overnight in hotel in Prague.
Day 3 - Prague city tour
Today sightseeing will start with visit to Royal Castle and St. Vitus`s Cathedral morning Holy Mass is in the church of Our Lady Victorious hosting The Prague Infant Jesus. After lunch in the early afternoon we are free until our dinner in typical Prague restaurant. We are in Prague for second night.
Day 4 Prague - Wadowice - Krakow
Today we will leave Prague and Czech Republic, bus ride to Poland. Once crossing the border we are on the way to birthplace of Karol Woytila, Wadowice - and in the Church of St. Mary where Pope John Paul II was baptized we will celebrate Holy mass. After visit of the museum, house where Karol was born and church where he was baptized in we will continue to Krakow. Check in to our hotel, dinner and overnight is at the hotel in Krakow.
Day 5 Krakow city tour
Our first morning in Krakow will start with sightseeing of historical Royal Town - Wawel, Market Square, the church of Assumption of Virgin Mary, The Cathedral of Wawel and the crypt of St. Leonard, it was here that priest Karol celebrated his first Mass. After lunch break you are free for the afternoon in Krakow. Centrally located hotel gives you the opportunity to enjoy this city and with the respect for the tradition beautifully restored historical center. Meet at the hotel for dinner in typical Krakow restaurant.
Day 6 Divine Mercy Sanctuary - Wieliczka salt mine
Morning that is ahead of us is high on the wish list of pilgrims throughout the world who daily pray the chaplet of the Divine Mercy. We will have a beautiful start in the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy just a few miles outside the Krakow where Sr. Faustina Kowalska during the period between the two world wars experienced extraordinary encounters with Jesus. After meeting with one of the nuns and through her story learn more about the life of this so popular Saint we will have private group Holy Mass. After some time for shopping in local religious souvenir stores here we will continue to the magnificent salt mine Wieliczka, breathtaking halls under the ground dig in salt. Late in the afternoon we will return to Krakow, dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Jasna Gora, Czestochowa - Auschwitz
In the early morning we will leave Krakow and drive on the north, to Czestochowa, Jasna Gora that has been the most popular Polish sanctuary for over 600 years. Prayer before the Miraculous painting, holy Mass and the story of Poland which cannot be told without a Black Madonna. Same day we will visit Auschwitz, one of the biggest tragedies in recent human history, guided tour will also take us to the cell where we hear about the last days of the life of St.
Maksymilian Kolbe, in the darkness his candle still burns. At the end of the long day we are back in Krakow to our hotel.
Day 8 Krakow - Vienna, Austria
Until next time Poland, today our goal is Vienna in Austria. We expect to be there at late afternoon, and after checking to the hotel time permitting we will see the inheritance of Habsburg monarchy in its best, panoramic bus tour of Vienna before dinner and first night in Vienna.
Day 9 Vienna city tour
After breakfast we will continue with the sightseeing of Vienna. City of Strauss and Mozart, city of the most beautiful architecture as a testimony of once mighty Empire, biggest in Europe for centuries. We see the Karlskirche one of the finest churches of the high baroque period, the Hofburg or the Winter palace, St. Stephen's cathedral. After a little coffee break enjoying famous Vienna Sacher cake we are on to the Schonbrunn Royal palace, Belvedere palace kwell nown by its beautiful garden and an impressive panoramic view on Vienna and the steeples of St. Stephen's Cathedral. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 10 Melk Benedictine Monastery
Full day excursion along the Danube Valley including visit to Abbey of Melk, Benedictine Monastery setteld in a beautiful country side sourrunded by the river danube.
After Holy Mass and visit we take a cruise boat for about hour and a half until Durnstein, here we will disembark and by bus return to Vienna. In Vienna we
will have farewell dinner in typical Austrain restaurant, at the end of it we will raise the glass of good beer or a wine....until we meet again!
Day 11 Vienna, Austria - departure home
Transfer to Vienna international airport for flight back home.
