Queen of Peace in Medjugorje and Our Lady of Knock pilgrimage to two mountains, Croagh Patrick & Cross Mountain. Two Marian Shrines in two such different countries, two Christian cultures were developing under very unalike historical circumstances. Irish and Croatians have this bond through Virgin Mary & Ireland loves Medjugorje! They come to Gospa in dozens of thousands every year! Two apparitions are of the Virgin Mary are diverse in many ways. One only one evening, the other according to the visionary goes on for 40 years now, 1981 - 2021!
Our pilgrimage will also include some of the most popular Irish destinations like Clonmacnoise, Cliffs Of Moher, Galway, Rock of Cashel... Great food and fine drinks will help us enjoying this marvelous pilgrimage!

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje & Ireland
Medjugorje – Knock – Galway – Rock of Cashel – Dublin
DAY 1 Flight to Croatia, Split,
Flight to Croatia, overnight flight from your departure city, meals served on board the plane.
Day 2 CROATIA, Split – Medjugorje (D)
Upon arrival at Split (or Dubrovnik) International Airport group will meet with the guide and the driver, and their pilgrimage journey to Medjugorje and Ireland begins. The same day you are after short border formalities, the border between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the group will arrive in Medjugorje. Check in to hotel, dinner, and overnight!
Day 3, 4, 5 – MEDJUGORJE (B, D)
On your first morning in Medjugorje, after breakfast, your local English-speaking guide will give you an introduction, a little walk from your hotel to the Church St. James just before English Holy mass at 10:00 am. You will have a chance to participate in many activities during your stay in Medjugorje.
Visiting Bijakovici village, all six visionaries come from it; you will go up the Apparition Hill, Podbrdo, where Our Lady first appeared. Each evening at 6:00 pm, you and thousands of other pilgrims will pray the rosary. Every evening you will pray all three Mysteries during the evening program. In Our Lady’s messages, it was repeated how important it is to come to mass where “we meet Jesus alive.” Messages of Prayer of the Rosary, Holy Mass, and Confession are the center of the evening program at St. James church. The apparition takes place at 5:40 pm or 6:40, daylight savings time. Even today, according to the words of three visionaries, the apparition takes place every day to Vicka, Ivan, and Marija. Mirjana, Jakov, and Ivanka are the three visionaries who don’t have daily apparitions but once a year. During your stay, you will be able to attend the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Veneration of the Cross in the parish church. After the Holy Mass, there is the Blessing of the Sick and the blessing of the religious items.
Among other activities, you will have a chance to climb the “Cross mountain,” Krizevac as local people know it! This will be our second climb that will require at least 3 hours to accomplish! Prayer of the "Stations of The Cross" as we will be heading to the top of the mountain!
We will also visit the “Blue Cross,” another place of the apparition of Our Lady! Every pilgrim In Medjugorje will have time for private devotions, shopping, or simply enjoying your own “freedom of prayer.”
Day 6 CROATIA – IRELAND (B, D)
Flight to Ireland, flight to Dublin from Split International Airport!
At Dublin airport, we meet our Irish tour guide. He will help us discover this beautiful, picturesque and charming Emerald Island. We will have a panoramic city tour on both sides of the River Liffey, where we pass by the General Post Office on the city's main thoroughfare, O'Connell Street, Custom House. On the other side of the river are Georgian squares characterized by colorful doors, Grafton Street, and Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland founded in 1592 by Elizabeth 1st. Time permitting, we visit the ancient library containing over twenty thousand manuscripts, among which is the Book of Kells, a manuscript from the 9th century written by the monks at St. Colombo's monastery on the island of Iona. Today we will also visit St. Patrick's Anglican Cathedral, built in 1213. This Gothic Cathedral has a splendid interior, with some beautiful tombs, monuments, and the ornate stained-glass windows in the Chancel. Later in the afternoon is our transfer to the hotel in the area for dinner and night rest.
Day 7 – Dublin - Knock Shrine, (B;D)
Today we will leave Dublin and head towards Mayo County. On our Christian path is a visit to Knock and the shrine situated in the plains of East Mayo. It is one of the world’s leading Marian shrines. On 21st August 1879, at about 8 o'clock, fifteen people, women, men, and children, witnessed an Apparition. We will visit the Basilica, the largest church in Ireland. Knock is a top-rated pilgrimage destination, and in 1979 Pope John Paul II visited this holy place. After mass some private prayer time at the shrine, we will spend the afternoon on our own, free time for lunch and shopping before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Knock – Croagh Patrick – Galway, (B;D)
This morning after a prayer to Our Lady of Knock, we will leave for Croagh Mountain. This morning we will climb this Ireland's Holy Mountian. The story says that it became famous after St. Patrick fasted for 40 days on the mountain. Today there is a small chapel built there! In the afternoon, we will drive to Galway, a city that has kept its medieval charm with its colorful streets and many authentic pubs, some free time before dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 – Galway – Cliffs of Moher – Rock of Cashel, (B;D),
After an excellent Irish breakfast, we will leave Galway. You will be going south through CLARE county's beautiful landscapes. We visit the Cliffs of Moher and through Lahinch continue towards Limerick. Later in the afternoon, visit Rock of Cashel standing high in the middle of the "Golden Vale," these religious buildings, dating from the 12th century, form the most spectacular medieval set in Ireland. The Cathedral, the Round Tower, and Cormac Chapel, the first Irish Romanesque church, testify to the site's importance. This place used to be the seat of the High Kings of Munster, so once more, we find here the two traditions and cultures meeting with one another where the story of St. Patrick's Cross will tell us more…! Dinner and overnight will be in one of the hotels in the area of Cashel.
Day 10 – Rock of Cashel – Kilkenny – Clonmacnoise (B;D)
Today we are traveling to Dublin pass through Medieval Kilkenny; this route continues to Clonmacnoise, which is Ireland's most important monastic site and overlooks the River Shannon. The site was founded by St. Ciaran in the 6th century and consisted of a walled field containing numerous early churches, high crosses, round towers, and graves. In the evening group will leave for a typical Irish dinner at one of Dublin's restaurants. Our last night in Ireland in the area.
Day 11 – Dublin, Ireland – USA
This morning our tour to Ireland came to an end. Transfer to Dublin International Airport for the flight back home! We are arriving home in the USA on the same day.
