APRIL 27 - MAY 9, 2026
Day 1 DEPART FOR PORTUGAL
Our journey begins with a flight to Portugal and its capital, Lisbon. Meals were served on board the plane.
Day 2 ARRIVAL IN LISBON AND FATIMA
Your pilgrimage begins the moment you land in Portugal! After meeting your dedicated tour manager and private coach, we travel to Lisbon. We visit the Church of St. Anthony, built on the site of his family home, followed by the majestic Se Cathedral just steps away, where the saint was baptised. Continuing along the Tagus River, with the fairytale-like Belem Tower and the breathtaking Jeronimos Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage). On our way north to Fatima, we pause in the peaceful town of Santarem to pray before one of the most revered Eucharistic Miracles in Europe – a Host that bled in 1247 and has been venerated without interruption for almost 800 years.
Tonight we are in Fatima, the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, in time for dinner at our hotel.
In the evening, we join thousands of pilgrims from around the world for the unforgettable 9:30 p.m. candlelight Rosary procession.
Day 3 FATIMA - ALJUSTREL - VALINHOS
Today, we walk in the footsteps of the three little shepherd children and stand on the very ground where Our Lady appeared. Our pilgrimage day begins with Holy Mass in one of the chapels of the Sanctuary. Afterwards, we visit the most sacred places associated with the 1917 apparitions. Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima – the beautiful neo-baroque church crowned by its golden crown, containing the tombs of Blessed Francisco and Jacinta Marto and Sister Lúcia (who was buried here in 2006). Chapel of the Apparitions at the exact heart of the Cova da Iria – the tiny chapel built on the very spot where Our Lady stood and spoke to the children between May and October 1917. Aljustrel – the authentic little hamlet where Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta lived. We walk through the narrow lanes and visit their humble family homes, preserved exactly as they were a century ago. Valinhos – a short drive away, the peaceful pasture where Our Lady appeared again on 19 August 1917. Here we see the simple monument marking the place of the fourth apparition.
In the evening, you may join the beautiful Rosary and candlelight procession (optional) – thousands of pilgrims, dozens of languages, one voice lifted to Our Lady under the stars. Dinner and a second overnight in Fatima.
A day filled with grace, light, and the gentle presence of the Mother who said:
“My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”
Day 4 FATIMA - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
After breakfast and an early Holy Mass in the Sanctuary of Fatima, we bid farewell to Our Lady of the Rosary and head toward Santiago de Compostela, the tomb of Saint James the Greater. We cross the border into Spain, travelling through the green hills of northern Portugal and Galicia. A relaxing lunch stop is planned en route.
In the late afternoon, we reach Santiago de Compostela, a pilgrimage destination for more than 12 centuries that attracts millions of pilgrims. We step into the breathtaking Praza do Obradoiro, the grand square framed by the Cathedral, the Hostal dos Reis Católicos, and the Renaissance palaces – one of the most beautiful civic spaces in Europe. We enter the Cathedral of Saint James itself. Here you can touch the ancient pillar of the Portico of Glory, embrace the golden bust of the Apostle above the main altar and descend to the crypt to pray at the silver urn holding the relics of Saint James and his two disciples. After this deeply moving first encounter with the Apostle, we check into our hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA - BURGOS
We begin our final morning in Santiago with a leisurely breakfast, followed by a Holy Mass in the Cathedral of St. James (or one of the nearby pilgrimage churches). A perfect moment to offer your intentions to the Apostle before we continue the journey. We depart eastward across the rolling plains of Galicia and Castile. In the afternoon, we arrive in majestic Burgos, for centuries the historic capital of Old Castile.
Here we visit the breathtaking Gothic Cathedral of Santa María – a UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece where El Cid (Spain’s national hero) and numerous Castilian kings and queens are laid to rest. Marvel at the golden staircase, the tomb of El Cid and his wife Jimena, and the serene beauty of one of Spain’s finest cathedrals.
After our visit, we check into our comfortable hotel in the city centre, enjoy a traditional Castilian dinner together, and rest well.
Day 6 BURGOS - LOURDES
After breakfast, we enjoy a guided morning tour of Burgos, centred on the magnificent Cathedral of Saint Mary – a jewel of Spanish Gothic and one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world. We will see the tomb of El Cid, admire the exquisite Chapel of the Constables and the dazzling golden staircase. Mid-morning, we board our coach and begin the scenic journey north across the Basque Country and over the Pyrenees into France, following the ancient pilgrim roads toward Lourdes. Our arrival in the peaceful sanctuary town nestled at the foot of the mountains is expected to be in the early evening. We check into our hotel, conveniently located just minutes from the Grotto. In the evening we join pilgrims from every nation for the moving Rosary and Candlelight Procession – thousands of flickering flames, hymns in many languages.
Dinner and our first overnight in Lourdes – “A sanctuary of healing and hope for over 160 years.”
Day 7 LOURDES
Tour of the Shrine for about 2 hours, visiting the Grotto of Massabielle, where the Blessed Virgin appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Also, we will see The Baths, with the Lourdes miraculous water. A guided tour will include the Basilica of Immaculate Conception and Crypt, which was the first chapel built here as a place of worship, and the Rosary Basilica, Church of St. Bernadette. Our local Lourdes guide will then take us to all the sites associated with St. Bernadette. The Bolly Mill in Rue Bernadette Soubirous, where the Saint was born on January 7th, 1844, is a place where she spent the first years of her life. A group will also visit "Cachot" or jail, where Bernadette lived with her family in poverty at the time of the apparitions. The tour will also include the parish church and the baptismal font where she received baptism! The afternoon and lunchtime will be on your own. Free afternoon until dinner, and in the evening, the group can participate in the Candlelight Marian Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
Day 8 LOURDES - TOURS (St. Martin of Tours)
This morning, we bid farewell to Our Lady of Lourdes and travel north through the gentle French countryside, crossing Aquitaine and entering the lush, castle-dotted Loire Valley. In the afternoon, we arrive in historic Tours, for seventeen centuries the city of Saint Martin, the beloved soldier-bishop who cut his cloak for a beggar and became the spiritual father of France. Our expert local guide brings the dramatic story of Tours to life, the ancient Roman city on the “Hill of Caesar”, the decisive Battle of Tours in 732, when Charles Martel halted the advance of the Muslim army and changed the course of European history, a few words on Viking sieges in the 9th century and the city’s role in both World Wars. We will see the majestic Basilique Saint-Martin, built over the tomb of the saint (died 397) – a place of prayer and miracles for over 1,600 years. After the visit, enjoy a little free time to stroll the charming old town, sip coffee on Place Plumereau. Tonight we sleep in the land of Saint Martin – a city that has welcomed pilgrims since the days of the early Church.
Day 9 TOURS - NORMANDY OMAHA BEACH, D-Day - LISIEUX
After breakfast, we travel north across the beautiful French countryside toward one of the most moving sites of the 20th century: the Normandy landing beaches. We pause in silent tribute at the American Cemetery above Omaha Beach – row upon row of white crosses and Stars of David overlooking the very sands where, on 6 June 1944, thousands of young American soldiers gave their lives for the liberation of Europe. Our guide will share the powerful story of D-Day, the courage, and the sacrifice that changed the course of history. After visit we continue to the gentle Normandy town of Lisieux, home of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus – the “Little Flower” and one of the most beloved saints of modern times.
Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Lisieux.
Day 10 LISIEUX - PARIS
We begin our day in the gentle peace of Lisieux, wholly dedicated to Saint Therese of the Child Jesus – the “Little Flower” whom Pope Pius X called “the greatest saint of modern times.” After a Holy Mass celebrated for our pilgrims, we visit the places that shaped her short but radiant life. We will visit and see the Carmel Convent, where Thérèse entered at the age of 15 and lived until her death at 24; we pray before her relics and the simple chapel where she made her total gift of love, then the majestic Basilica of Saint Thérèse, one of the largest churches built in the 20th century, crowned with colourful mosaics and filled with the scent of roses. At the end, we are at Les Buissonnets, the charming family home where little Thérèse grew up surrounded by love, and where she first heard the call to become a saint through the “Little Way” of trust and love. In the early afternoon, we depart for the City of Lights – Paris! The French countryside gradually gives way to the elegant suburbs, and soon the Eiffel Tower appears on the horizon. We check into our hotel, enjoy a welcome dinner, and settle in for the night.
Day 11 PARIS - city tour
We begin with the heart of our Parisian pilgrimage: Holy Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (Rue du Bac), where the Blessed Virgin appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830 and gave the world the Miraculous Medal. We pray at Catherine’s incorrupt body and ask Mary to clothe us in her graces. Just across the street, we step into the beautiful church of Saint Vincent de Paul, resting place of the great “Father of the Poor” and founder of the Daughters of Charity, the very order to which Saint Catherine belonged. After this deeply spiritual morning, we board our coach for a panoramic discovery of the world’s most romantic city. On a bus tour with a few stops, we will see and visit the triumphant Arc de Triomphe, the elegant Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, and the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral (exterior visit and prayer). We then ascend the hill of Montmartre to the dazzling white Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Sacré-Cœur) – perpetual Adoration has been offered here day and night since 1885.
Our tour ends in the lively Latin Quarter around Notre-Dame, with cobbled streets, historic bookshops, charming cafes, and the joyful atmosphere of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Dinner on your own tonight – choose a classic bistro or a cosy brasserie as you wish.
Day 12 PARIS - free day
After breakfast, the whole day belongs to you – your final, unhurried chance to fall in love with the City of Light! Stroll along the Seine at your own pace, linger in a sidewalk café with a café creme and a warm croissant, climb the Eiffel Tower, wander the magnificent halls of the Louvre, pray in the hushed beauty of Sainte-Chapelle or Saint-Sulpice, shop for souvenirs on the Champs-Elysees, or sit on a bench in the Tuileries Gardens and watch Parisian life unfold.
Whether you choose museums, churches, boutiques, a scenic Seine River cruise, or just getting happily lost in the charming side streets – today Paris is yours.
In the late afternoon, we gather one last time for a festive farewell dinner. A good French food, a glass of wine, laughter, shared memories, and grateful hearts for all the graces of this pilgrimage.
Day 13 FLIGHT BACK HOME
After breakfast and a final fond look at Paris, we board our private coach for a smooth transfer to Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG). Your tour manager will assist with check-in and remain with you until you pass through security.
Safe travels and bon retour!
